Stefania has worked for Malahat Nation on Marine Stewardship programs and was the Communications Director at Raincoast Education Society, a non-profit organization in Tofino BC. She is interested in new opportunities to build communities through digital and visual communication; particularly those involving marine conservation and science. She is the founder of Guardians of the Deep: A citizen science program created to monitor Rockfish populations in the Salish Sea. Visit the Guardians of the Deep website. |

Stefania completed her Master of Science degree at the University of Victoria, in British Columbia, Canada.
During her Master's she improved data availability for rockfish conservation while evaluating the quality of citizen science SCUBA-derived data. (Supervised by Dr. John P. Volpe) |
